Understanding a Biblical Worldview Lens & Theological Arc
This course provides a comprehensive exploration of the Creation-Fall-Redemption-Restoration framework as a foundational theological lens for understanding mental health and human experience. Students will examine how this biblical narrative arc shapes our understanding of human nature, suffering, healing, and hope.
The course integrates theological concepts with psychological theories to develop a coherent worldview that informs clinical practice. Special attention is given to applying this framework across different levels of care, from lay ministry to clinical practice. Through critical engagement with key texts, case studies, and theological reflection, students will develop their ability to articulate and apply a biblical worldview to mental health contexts.
